Google was started:
Google was started in 1998 by two student Larry Page and Sergey Brin, when they were studying at Stanford University in the USA. They wanted to make a search engine that show the best and most useful results on the top. At first, they named it Backrub, but later they changed it to Google, which comes from the word “Gogol” ( a very large number). Google become very popular because it gave fast and correct answers compared to other search engine of that time.

later, Google also started Google Adsense and Google Ads to earn money, and from there they started paying website owners. The first person Google paid was a publisher who joined Google Adsense in 2003, when the program was launched. That payment was for showing ads on their website. After that, million of people around the world started earning from Google.
